An open-minded and loyal supporter of all music philosophies, esta maintains zero barriers in his meticulous method of danceable, yet sexy music production and arrangement. Based in Southern California and part of the Los Angeles-based Soulection imprint, esta is a rising star within the future music ecosystem, with a loyal, globally recognized support base.
In 2006, esta was introduced to the Fruity Loops music production software program by a close friend and says “my first beat took eight hours with no break in between and I’ve been hooked ever since”. Seven years and many Fruity Loops beats later, esta joined the Soulection family, moved to Los Angeles from his hometown of San Diego and subsequently began performing as a DJ/Producer around the world. In less than two years, esta reached the east coast of the U.S., Canada, Asia, Europe and remains a staple in the Southern California music scene.
2013 marked esta’s first appearances at both Coachella and the historic LOW END THEORY. Having played alongside acts like Gaslamp Killer, Sango, SOSUPERSAM, Mr. Carmack and Penthouse Penthouse, while pulling Inspiration from artists like Hudson Mohawke, Dilla, Cory Henry, 9th Wonder, Taylor McFerrin, M-Phases, D’Angelo, and Just Blaze, esta seamlessly fuses multi-dimensional genres into an atmospheric swing.
In 2015, esta released his etc. remix EP and continued his grueling touring schedule, with notable appearances at Circo, Applesap, Decibel and HARD Fest.
2016 marks the year of esta’s first official album release.
SAM GELLAITRY
Sam Gellaitry is an 18 year old producer from Stirling, Scotland.
He began working on creating tracks when he was 12 after hearing his older brother and friends creating sounds using Acid Pro.
Sam continued to experiment with making music on his computer at home in Stirling and decided to leave school at 16 in order to focus more intently on it. This decision was supported by his family who recognised his talent, enthusiasm and commitment to composing his own music.
Sam attended a music course at college for a short time and there gained more insight into the music business and how it works.
Sam has been working exclusively on creating music and playing shows since then. He has toured widely within Europe performing in Paris, Milan, Vienna, Basel, Bern, Brussels, Stuttgart, Freiberg, Bordeaux, Amsterdam and London.
Sam has wide ranging tastes in music and is influenced by a variety of different genres.
He has created a range of different tracks with his signature sound embedded in each and has over 100,000 followers on Soundcloud.
Sam’s debut EP “Short Stories” was released in February 2015 on Soulection. The EP was well received by all of Sam’s fans, as well as acquiring great reviews from many industry publications/blogs, including thissongissick who wrote: : “Gellaitry’s progressive sound is displayed in his debut Short Stories EP as his hard hitting bass sits perfectly alongside dreamy, atmospheric melodies to create his unique contrasting sound that is truly genre-defying. Each song on this project takes many unexpected turns as the producer constantly surprises with the shifting of a variety of instrumental layers.”

After receiving recognition and championship awards
in worldwide DJ competitions (including DMC, ITF and
Guitar Center Championships), he toured
from coast to coast and collaborated with some of
jazz’s finest musicians: members of the Charlie Hunter
Quartet and John Scofield Trio. Following an
energetic performance in a San Francisco jazz club,
audience member and legendary saxophonist Ravi
Coltrane requested an encore performance.
Frequently met with such requests
as his style is often described as truly original and
refreshing, receiving high respects from the
best in Hip-Hop, Jazz and everything in between.
His debut album, “My SoundStation,” (2006) which
exposes his eclectic musical style and creativity as a composer,
ranked number one on several of the College Music Journal’s
Top 10 lists for months after its release. He was recognized soon after
for his excellence and innovation in production with the
Milestones Innovative Producer’s Award given by the world-
renowned Berklee School of Music in Boston.
He continued his innovationas a collaborator (along with Ruckazoid,
Dstyles, Mike Boo & Dj Woody) on the development of the
Vestax Controller One turntable—the first
turntable engineered to be a musical instrument.
